Over 20,000 car enthusiasts from across the country will converge in Fort Lauderdale to bid on some of the finest examples of automotive history and soak up the rays of the Florida sunshine.
RM will round out an exciting month of auction action this weekend
in Fort Lauderdale with their annual Collector Cars of Fort Lauderdale event
- all the excitement kicks off with a full day preview(Thursday,
March 25th), followed by three days of auction action from Friday, March
26th through Sunday, March 28th
The event is regarded as South Florida's premier collector car event
and attracts an average attendance of 20,000 car enthusiasts each year from
across the continent. This year's event has also attracted strong interest
from Europe
Over 500 motor cars are set to cross the block during the three
days, ranging from desirable classics to exotic sports cars and Detroit
muscle. The line-up also features a series of motor cars from the estate of
noted American collection, Mr. John O'Quinn.
In addition to automobiles, the event will feature a selection of
vintage memorabilia sure to enhance any collection of classic cars - from
fully restored gas pumps, lubesters and petroliana accessories to
beautifully detailed vending machines and bicycles. Over 100 lots of
memorabilia will be offered, many at no reserve, beginning at 10am on
Friday, March 26th
